Default need some input

I have a 2000 dodge van 2500 5.2l engine, was running fine parked it for the night next morning went out to start it wouldn't start gave it a boost. It would start to a putter and stop fuel pump is working put new spark plugs and air filter still will not start. If anyone has had this problem or can tell me what to do I would appreciate it very much.

Did you check to see if you're getting a strong blue spark at the spark plugs?

Default just happened to me

I had similar situation a few days ago. I ran the battery down after leaving key on for a couple of days. Went to start it and nothing. Put another battery on to boost to get her started and it did start, BUT unless I had my foot on the gas the engine would die at idle. It restarted but again, it would not stay going unless I revved the engine and held my foot on the gas. I put the 2500/318 battery on slow/long charge to try to bring it back. After 8 hours of charging it started right up and acted normal. I thought that maybe I had blown the computer chip, but after 3 more days of driving it is acting fine now. Hooe this happens to you also.

We have large batteries in the Vans they require more charging to bring them up to a good level. check the condition of the ignition coil, dist cap.
