1. turn ignition to off
2. ground the dark green program enable wire located in cavity one on the datalink
3. turn key forward to on. power door locks will lock/unlock.
4. push a button on key fob. doors will lock/unlock.
5. repeat for additional keyfobs
6. remove jumper wire.
7. turn ignition to off and remove the key
8. test the keyfob
I don't know how to test the remotes other than with this procedure. In theory a field strength meter should be able to indicate rf transmission but I don't know what frequency band these units operate on. There is a black box under the dash marked keyless entry (or similar). If you remove the engine cover and look up underneath the dash you can't miss it.
I would try removing and replacing the batteries in the remote and repeating the steps if this procedure does not work. Good luck!

I replaced the batteries in the fob, and ran through the reprogram procedure. Thanks again for posting it.
Unfortunately, nada. So, I guess I will get a new remote and see if that works.
After that, I guess it's the receiver. I'll see if it looks okay, wouldn't know how to go about testing that.
Anyway, thanks for your help. At least now I know where all the pieces are.
