Default transmission vibration

I have a 96 dodge ram b2500 van 3.9, When on an incline not moving i will loose drive until i apply gas with 2 second delay , or somtimes turning in a car park i will loose drive for a moment . Sometimes while at traffic lights drive will go out then back in on its own, fluid level is all good. Also when starting it makes a clunk , sunds like a loose flex plate or fly wheel, sounds like the flex drive is making a tinney vibrating when at low speed, and vehicle vibrates at 55. I had u/j's checked and wheels ballance.
had a new engine fitted 1000 miles ago not sure if my problem is related to that. trying to work out if the loss of drive is related to above problems or a seperate issue one good thing, rear crank seal is leaking so getting it fixed under warranty, that means trasmission off, so flex plate area can be checked, can't realy see how that would effect other problem...but your views would help.
