My '01 B2500 needs a new trans (46re). According to a couple charts, the '99 Dodge Ram 1500 truck also used the 46re. I found a real inexpensive used one from the truck and want to make sure there are no differences in the case or otherwise to prevent using the truck trans. Obviously both 2wd.

 

As far as I know they will interchange easily.

 

FYI ... just save the speedo interface from the old tranny if the truck one is different. Heard this a little while back in the forums. Otherwise, the tranny should work. Even a 46RE out of a Dakota or Durango could work too.
