Hopefully you took note of where the gas gauge was when the pump sucked out the last of the fuel. It's always good to know if E really means Empty or not.

Yes, I did. Not quite down over the "E". Still sucking fuel, but with more air in it, so I left the rest inside. I added 5 gal of fresh gas, and the gauge hardly moved up. I suppose it's a 30 gal tank... I have to look that up.
Where do you find the tranny model number, to buy the correct filter and gasket?

Ok Drained the gas and flushed the lines with no luck. i did pull the injectors and did not see anything obvious but I did notice after I messed with them the truck would start and idle very low and rough

 

I'd check the injectors and make sure they are seated fully and the connections are tight. You do realize this is an 8 year old thread don't you? I'd start a new one specifically for your issues
