Default Considering V10 engine swap

Friend of mine is giving me an 8.0 liter Magnum V10 engine with harness, computer, and shorty headers included. All accessories and even hoses are still with the engine. I was thinking about tossing this whole arrangement into my van.

I know I will need to get rid of the clutch fan, and have electric fans mounted in front of the radiator in order for it to fit down in there at a minimum. Do the Magnus V10s use a different style of engine mount or will V8 mounts bolt up since it is essentially the same engine with 2 more cylinders?

Any advice is appreciated.

Do not know about the engine mounts.

A question I have since yours is a 98 is will the new PCM work with your current tranny? If not then you will have major issues with the transmission.

A 1998 should have about 4 more inches in the engine bay of that van vs. the previous years. Yeah, the tranny needs to mate to that engine too since the PCM controls it as well.

Tranny I am not worried about. I can get the tranny too. Just worried about fit and mounting.
