i have a 2001 dodge 3500 van and the transmission wont shift i have put new clutches in it and it still dont shift could the valvebody need rebuilt also ?

 

WHat semptons did you have before deciding to replace the clutches?

Do you have any gears at all, meaning will it either move forward or reverse? If yes then you need to check the TCM fuse and relay also make sure all electrical plugs to the transmission are connected for this transmission uses the Transmission Control Module to tell the unit when to shift.

WHile reassembling the transmission did you make sure while attaching the vlave body that the gear selector was properly connected to it?
