Default Loose TV

I have a 2002 Ram high top conversion van by elk automotive (out of business).
The space in the ceiling (elk auto calls it a tv tunnel) where the 9 inch crt tv sits has a piece of plastic that looks right, anchored at the front and is under the tv, would be a good anchor if the tv could be attached to it.
There is no way to attach the tv to it.
Is the tv tunnels cowling the only thing that keeps the tv from falling out?

Thanks

There should be another piece of wood, IIRC, that goes on top or behind the TV. It kind of wedges into place. I did this fix a long time ago, so I cant remember perfectly, but I remember that piece was actually off to the side when I opened up the tunnel..

Thanks for that info. I'll look for the piece of wood.
It might be that the wood goes under the plastic anchor to keep it raised.
Now if I can find that piece of wood.

Yep -- I think you are right. There is a way the TV gets wedged up into the front bezel to keep it from sliding and rattling.
Good luck
