Well took care of the pink / knock, the dizzy was not fully set into place. But it still runs rough. So made a short vid of it just at Idle only. Maybe this will help ......
Rough idling is almost always due to vacuum leaks or ignition malfunction as I'm sure you already know.. maybe check for codes?
Vac lines that were rough got replaced, checked them all already. Checked plug wires all checked out good. Checked all wire connections, good there also. This is why I posted here due to was stumped on what might be causing it.
Checked for codes even thou there is no cell light. No codes either. Tried the neg cable off and ignition on for 15 sec to reset the PCM, still no difference. Guess back to searching the net to see if there is something missed.
So here's a question. How come on your engine the Crankcase breather valve is on the drivers side and the PCV is on the passenger side? Mine is the opposite...
My engine is a 2000 5.9. The add oil tube is on the drivers side but is that where the CBE is supposed to be? And the PCV on the passenger side?
How would this effect the engine performance?

Thanks,

That is just how it was when I got it.
Well found my issue, decided to take my scope and look inside the intake, just didn't look right to me. Cranked it up and holly PING attack (sure it was due to it was only 12 degrees outside)
Compared that to the vids on youtube with the dreaded intake PING issues these are well known for. So just for giggles I covered up the TB area and plugged off the vac ports, took one port and hooked up my vac tester ..... Result couldn't get more then 3 psi of pressure that wouldn't hold. With a sealed up intake should be able to get more then that. So off will come the intake and the upgraded plate will go on. I am sure that some where (and will check when I have it off again) there is a gap due to warp or just age. Sure this is another reason they opted for the thicker plate. Was trying to hold off on this til spring, but its not going to happen
