Driver's pillar grab handle for 2002 ram van
I've heard that I should not use the tilt steering wheel in my 2002 B2500 Dodge Ram Wagon to assist me in hoisting myself up. Cannot find a 2002 DODGE RAM van 2500 A PILLAR GRAB HANDLE . Is there such a thing? There's one on the passenger's side. Any help?

From a friend of mine whom was parting out an older car I grabbed the four roof handles it had. I bolted two of them over the doors and the other two on the a-pillers. I also grabbed the interior/map light and custom mounted it in the front interior light location.
Pick up something from the salvage yard and mount it yourself. I used the existing trim screws on the a-pillers. Might even check the passenger side and see if you need to add rivnuts for better attachment to the pillers metal. A body shop would have the tools to add them once you mark the location.

You are correct to not use the steering wheel to enter the van, my
mother who is very heavy damaged three steering columns over
the past 20 years.(in sedans not vans) A handle should work for you.
