Hi - I have a 1995 B2500 van, the engine codes won't clear. I disconnected the battery terminal for hours, same codes still remain. Is there a different method of clearing the codes for this van? Thanks very much.

Some codes can only be cleared with a scanner.

 

I do not know if this will work for sure but some (GM vehicles at least) have been able to clear the codes by:
1) Disconnecting the battery
2) Turning the key to the on position and waiting for 30 minutes.
3) Remove key
4) Reconnect battery.

See if that will work for you. If not the you will need a code reader/scanner to clear them.
