Default Saying hello to all from the newbie

Hello to all, I just recently accuired a 1999 Dodge B1500 Conversion Van (Mark III edition) 5.2l and in the process of Googl'ing this year model I found this forum. I just wanted to say Hi to all and introduce myself.

Now the problem I am having with this van.
1. trans is slipping but when I put it in overdrive it still slip but not as bad. was going to replace trans but I could not find what type of trans this van takes.( contacted local salvage yard but no luck until i found out which trans goes in the van)
2.Climate control in the front seems to work when it wants to, also heat do not work. well it works for about 3 seconds then turns cold again i live in washington DC and its still pretty cold out here. ( got a spare climate control module will swap it out this weekend and see if that works)
3.Brakes feels really spongy (was told booster might be going bad, but i will check all the lines and such this weekend before i go that route)
4.Idler pulley whinning ( Van been sitting for about 8 months before i purchased it, purchased one fron Advance Auto will be installing this weekend)
5.P0420 engine code (o2 sensor) but dont know which one I spoke to an Autozone associate but could not tell me which one. Any one knows which o2?
6.needs a tune-up. what type of plugs and wires is best to use?

Thanks in advance for your input.

1) found the cause of the trans problem, just saw that the trans is leaking ALOT of fluid from what looks like the front seal of the trans not sure yet until i take the trans completely out and inspect it.
2)i have not gotten a chance to replace it yesterday since i was more focus on changing the oil, idler pulley and belt lastnight
3)brakes has no leak or anything, might be a bad booster
4) done. just change the idler pulley and belt lastnight no more whinning.
5)cleared the code and drove it around and no light came back on yet
6)still dont know
