How is the engine normally removed for overhaul.
No it ain't broke, just curious about this van.
Anyone know who has a wiring diagram for the additions starcraft made to the van?

The best way to find the wire diagram for your conversion van that the converison company did is to either call them or check out there website. Thats what I did with mine, as mine is a Chariot converison van, plus I also got the wiring diagram and info on my rear AC and heating unit from ProAir that installed mine, there info is on line in there website.
Hope this helps you some what ? The dealer was no help and trying to find it online at forums and other places didnt help me.

Van engine removal is not for the faint of heart. I replaced a 360 in a 1989
B350 years ago and have since assisted in one other van replacement.(Ford)
The Ford was a nightmare and I will go no further on that story but the Dodge
is much easier. Now that is relative, Ram Vans after the pass front seat
and door are removed you can pull the motor out and in. As Alloro stated
you can get it out the front but you must remove most of the front end.
After taking the front end off you need a forklift/Bobcat to lift the engine
and pull it forward a normal cherry picker will not fit unless you take the intake and heads
off and pull it as a short block. For what it is worth my opinion is pay
to have it done as it is a major pain in the a**. I will never do one again.

If I remember correctly, an additional battery is usually put under the passengers seat, below the floor pan...at least this is what I was told. I dont have one in my van
It comes out the front with PS pump, AC compressor, all other protrusions and intake man removed.
