First: "Does any one know what the fuses do on my 1997 Dodge custom van located just behind the drivers seat, just under the passenger seat window? Some of the fuses are missing and I don't know they're for!

Fuses located behind the driver seating area along the wall or above usually are there from the conversion company. So, if the van has a DVD player, TV, track-lighting, etc. those fuses go to that. Even the sofa bed in the back as some have electric motors.
CPC Parts may have the fuse block. Call for pricing. If it says $350, it may be a type-o. So, give them a ring otherwise.
