Default Shock Absorber Recommendations ?

I need new shocks on a 96 B2500 high top conversion van with a 5.2.
I like a nice firm, but not teeth rattling, ride and am looking to improve the handling and stability for some 80 + mph traveling.
Which shocks would you recommend?

Good timing, UncleLar.

Exactly what I've come in search of today. I need front shocks for my 95 high top B2500, 5 lug rims, 5.2liter. I'd like to know what people prefer for thier heavy vans.
Though I wont be hauling butt at 80 much.

Steve

Thanks for the reply, Blackvan.
I ordered KYB'd off of Rockauto. Hope they come quick, vith vacation later next week.
Could hardly touch then for twice the price locally. The Bilsteins are starting at 100 and up.

I do like Rockauto They kill on prices, even with shipping. Mostly they are pretty quick, occasionally a slow ship. I did pay for an upgrade ship, but not overnight. That's tooo pricey. An hour after I placed the order, I got the notice that fedex had picked up the package already. Scheduled for July 2, hope they arrive earlier.

Default Try coil over shocks.

I have 31x10.5 r15 off road tires on my van and I use coil over shocks. They work great, I can round a corner in my van like no other. Before I had the shocks or tires my van would wobble around every turn, my wife hated it...said she got sea sick in the van. Now with these shocks and tires I have even done a power slide going around a downhill curve (not intentionally-of course) I am sure without my modifications the van would have rolled, its a high-top by the way. I got my shocks through jc whitney however I am sure they can be found anywhere. I can't tell you how good it feels to keep up with other drivers around a curve...sometimes I even pass them. The surprised look on their faces is classic. Try this link... http://www.jcwhitney.com/sensa-trac-load-adjusting-twin-tube-shock-by-monroe/p3059265.jcwx?filterid=d50374y1995g2j1

Good luck you all.
