Default Dodge Ram Van 250 ignition coil problem

Hi! Please help!
I have a Dodge ram Van 250, V8, 5.9 l. Year 1989, camperized.
Sometimes, completely irregularly, the car just dies. Sometimes it starts again immediately, sometimes it cranks, but no start. After some time it starts again. This problem occurs sometimes very often, sometimes not at all, but last time it occurs very often. I have been advised it can be an bad ignition coil. The problem is, that I am in Peru with the car at the moment, and it is hard to find a right parts. Please could anybody tell me the spesifications for a right ignition coil for my car? Resistance, voltage....? Could you advise me some type, brand? Is the BOSH 097 OK?
Do I need to add a pre-resistance?

Thanks a lot !

Default no 12 VOLT on the coil

I made some diagnostics on my Dodge B250, 1989, V8. 5.9. Please help, i thing i am getting closer to the problem:-) I will describe more closely what happens first:
My car runs with no problem, but sometimes, irregulary or under heavier load, the engine starts dying. It just dies. Sometimes it starts again, sometimes i have to wait 5-15 minutes. During this period it cranks but no starts. Sometimes i get backfiring, but rare. Sometimes, during operation, the car suddenly loses power completely, and after several seconds runs again normally, or dies. These problems were irregular, but nowadays are everyday. I am in Peru with my car, so cant wisit any Dodge specialist, so I tryed to help myself.

When the car died once and didnt start again while cranking, I checked the voltage on + pin of the ignition colil. I didnt get any voltage. After a while it did get voltage again and the car started. I tried to check the switching signal on - pin, but the results were confusing, maybe i didnt do it correctly (i connerted the aligator clip of 12V test light with + battery terminal and the test light with - pin of the coil)

So, please, what can this result mean? Please help, i cant find reliable mechanic here in Peru:-)))

You will need to find an ignition wiring diagram to see how the system works. Are you certain the issue is a lack of spark? I didn't see anything about that being checked for.

I think it is a lackof spark, because when the car dies and wont start again, the coil is not giving any (i checked with a spark plug) and also thereis NO voltage on the + pin of the coil. I made some progress with diagnostic, there is an error code appearing, the 11, which could have something to do with the hall pickup sensor, so this could be the problem?
