I think this section needs a new moderator seeing how we're suddenly getting hit by advertising threads and none of the people who can do anything about it are currently looking in on this forum any longer. I'm sure there are a few long time members who visit this section daily/weekly who can be put in charge of making sure this area stays as it should be. Not to mention we could use someone to replace some of the old sticky threads with something more useful to those of us who check in here often.

There are at least 3 people I can think of who would be qualified for the job, so lets try to get that done if we can.

 

Are you signed in? If we're talking about the same thing, then the advertising threads only show up if you're not signed in.

 

Not quite sure what you're seeing as I see no ad threads. Once in a while there will be a single ad thread at the top of a section that will link to a product but that is completely random. It also doesn't stay long.

If you see something questionable, let me know and I will check it out. I do look here though for spam. Like to try and keep everyone away from that but at the same time, us mods aren't on here all the time. Just let us know and we will tend to it.

 

Well, I'm logged in and the only ads are to the right side in a column. There is nothing that pops-up nor scrolls across the screen.

 

No problem with ads here.

 

There usually isn't any ad threads, and there aren't any right now, but there was one on that day, and one a few days prior to that. Anyway, that seems to be over now, so we can move on.

 

I think a moderator needs to find out who pissed in Alloro's cheerios.

As it turns out that was a completely different thread than this one, so your remark was out of place in this thread. I read this thread before your reply in the other one and didn't realizing at the time why your panties were in a knot, hence the "huh" here.

Other than that, you came to an automotive advice forum asking how to hang mini blinds. What kind of answers were you thinking you were going to get?
