I just traded a 99 in on an 01 and with the 99, an aftermarket lighter would frequently blow the 15 amp fuse called for which also kept the lights from working. Now with this 01, the lighter was working at first then it blew and because it controls the pretty ceiling and window lights, I went to replace it. I had the radio playing at the time and when the fuse tips touched the placement hole, the entire speaker system save for the drivers door speaker went off.
Surely, I don't have to choose between the gorgeous lights or the great sound these vans have??

Stopped in at a tint and stereo shop around the corner and he first suggested to go to a place in Tulsa but then he went ahead and looked into it and found a fuse blown in the panel behind the drivers seat and that the stereo there can only be heard with headphones/earbuds and that the switch has to be turned to TV in order for me to be able to have lights, lighter and all speakers working He said "saved you 30 bucks in gas" so I gave him a 20 and thanked him profusely.
