Just like the title says, I'm curious to if anyone knows if the 2001 Dodge Ram Van 1500 is a PCI or CCD bus?

If you just want to flash the PCM, that could be possible. Just note, that the PCM also configures and controls the tranny shift points. If you mess around too much, then the 46RE will not respond anymore.
