I found a nice high top roof on a 1989 extended length van in the junkyard. I want to put it on my 1973 maxivan. I haven't fine the measurements yet but does anyone know if it should fit?

Also, if you have any advice on installing it, I would be interested.

 

I don't know the dimensions of the '70s Dodge vans but I remember them as being a lot wider than my 2000. Exact fit? No. Can you make it fit ? Sure, maybe

Thanks. Too bad they don't have the 1st gen dimensions there. It did mention that the 2nd gen had a longer rear extension. If the width is close enough, I'm sure I can make it fit for sure (maybe).

Looks like it's off to the junkyard with a tape measure.
