Default Gas leak

96 B1500 3.9 L

I just noticed that gas is leaking where a metal/ aluminium tube inserts into the gas tank... There is a seal on the tank ...I was thinking of putting gasket sealer all around this but I am not sure it will stick if gas is leaking all over it...

What is this piece called?

Bummer -- You probably need to replace that big gas tank grommet. Not expensive, but a PITA.

No clamp. It's just a tight friction fit. Unless you're a magician, you will probably have to drain/drop the tank to replace it.
