Fuel pump issues or something else?
When's the last time the IAC was cleaned?
If you don't know, it would be a 10 minutes well spent while you're in there.

Okay...so I replaced the ignition coil Sunday afternoon. I stared the van and it even sound better! So I drove it on the highway...no problems. Even the speed seemed better. Before when I would press the gas it would hesitate to speed up. About 3 to 4 exits down from the area my pops stays I got off the highway. Soon as I started going down the main road....the van just cut off on me. Waited awhile and it started right back up. Later on I got back in the van after watching a movie....drove a ways and the van cut off on me again. Waited awhile and it started right back up. So what should I check for now?

ok I had a ford van ounce and I changed the high pressure fuel pump and the van still died on me at random .. I asked a old timer about it and he used to work for ford . well he said there are 2 types of pumps for all vans a trucks .. generic . and manufacture pump .. the gen will all ways kill its made to use less power to run and the computer on you van well all ways want more power for the pump and will send more power than it needs causing the pump to over heat and then shut down and you have to wait for it to cool down and then crank up and run for a bit and watch it over heat and kill again and you will all ways have to drive like that .. or replace the fuel pump with the one that comes from the ford auto plant that builds the van .. I know you have a dodge but the same problem is for all the vans and trucks out there all makes and models .. I hope this help because I had to pay a little over 50 buck for fuel pump gen.. and had to pay a 150 bucks for the manufacture pump .. just to stop the shuting down problem and it made my life driving the van much better .. hope this helps.. bye
Huh, that'll be very interesting if that turns out to be the case.
But before you go replacing the fuel pump for the second time, I'd suggest getting a the right PCM/ECU/computer. You don't have the right one to begin with. Call a dealership with your VIN and get the right part number. Cardone remanufactured are recommended on these forums pretty often. I've seen a number of places that allow returns on them if it doesn't resolve your issue.
