Default first start trouble.

When I go to start my van I have to leave the ignition on for about 30 seconds or it will not start. I can hear the fuel pump run when I turn on the key. Do I need to replace the pump.

It's your PCM, not the fuel pump.

By leaving the key on for a bit you are warming up the circuits within the PCM. A way to test this is before the first start of the day, is to use a hairdryer to warm-up the PCM. If after warming-up the PCM the van starts right up without having to leave the key on for a bit, you've confirmed it's the PCM.
