Default wiper/washer repair

my 79 has those on the wiper arm windshield washers. The hose runs up the inside of the arm. It is extremely narrow. Standard hose at car store of the same ID is much larger OD.

Anyone have a source for this tiny hose?

No source for hose, but the plastic part on the wiper broke on my '94. I just drilled some holes in the hood and installed some "squirters" there, like on the later models. By the time I bought the squirters, and the necessary hose, and the "T" connectors, I probably have about 25 bux in the conversion.

Try a pet store -- the aquarium hoses are much smaller than normal washer/fuel hoses...

Not sure what size is needed since you didnt post any specs.

Your local hardware store may carry small diameter clear polyethene tubing or rubber tubing. Sciplus.com lists some 5/32" OD x 1/16" ID tubing that might work.

Default thanks

Thanks all.
Hardware store: fail (ID ok OD to big)
auto store: fail (same)

Have seen some candidates on web…list od as 5/32

Arm in sling right now so I don't want to go out and measure, but I am guessing it's about 1/8 ID with 3/16 od.

it's very flimsy/flexible and when you put it on the fitting the od seems to bulge.
