don't know when the last time it was tuned up completely I changed the spark plugs and oil when I first got it the ignition coil was changed a week later I haven't tried the IAC I dropped the fuel tank in the 94 that I am using for parts cause it ran like a dream someone just decided to give her a black eye with their hummer on the funny side hummer had to be flatbeded and hauled off I drove mine home after bending the bumper off the front tire
Start with the easy stuff first...after that it could be ECM, weird o2 sensor, leaking injectors, clogged cat etc.
check your alternator and wiring also..... a friend of mine recently thought he had a bad alternator, downed his truck for 2 weeks looking for a replacement... what it ended up being, was a loose connection on the back
ok quick update thank you all for your advice . replaced fuel pump and the IAC drove fine for about 70 miles the it happened again I was about ten miles from home and in that distance it cut off on me three times I'm thinking maybe the computer I may be wrong HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
