I'm trying to follow this procedure:

Is this the proper connector? First pic zoomed out from location, second pic zoomed in.

That looks like the throttle position sensor (TPS) to me.
That also looks like a carb and not a throttle body, which would mean no injectors or pressure. What year is this?

You can see the fuel line feeding the carb in the second photo. What are you trying to accomplish?

First off I'm a newb, I've only worked with modern Japanese FI motorcycles. The gas tank needs to be replaced. According to my service manual. I need to release the pressure in the fuel system before removing the gas tank. I attached an image of the procedure in post #1, which states to jump wire #1, #2 too Ground, Power(5 secs) to release the pressure.

My problem is I can't find anything anywhere (this manual or online) that points exactly to where the injector wiring harness is located. I looked around the engine where I suspected (no real knowledge here) and found the plug pictured. It has 4 pins as pictured, and the bracket looks like the illustration, but, that means dick. I just want to find out where the injector wiring harness is located so I can follow this procedure and remove the tank.

Ya, think you're right, I just saw this image which shows the TPS which to me seems to be what I took a picture of.

The pictures I posted in the first thread is in fact the Injector Wire Harness plug thingymajig. I connected to ground and power as outline and I could hear the pressure released. Thanks for the help guys.
