Default 90 Van. Spark but no power at fuel pump

I have been lurking here a while and now I have a good reason to introduce myself. I hope someone can help me.

Well it left me stalled on a main road, had to get it towed home.
Got another Fuel Pump relay + that did not do it.
So I checked + got spark at coil + #1 plug. Tried another hall effect, no luck.

So in about a week I will be going on vacation with my Dodge Rv , or will I??
I was planing on doing a few things before leaving, and one was to put a new fuel filter. So I thought this was a good time to do it. Discovered pump was not working.

So I checked to see if there was power at the pump. No power at the connection. Fuel pump relay seems to have power. So I took the connection by the back of the valve cover on the Pass side. There seemed to be power at some of the pins. It this connection the one that goes to the fuel pump sending unit??

So I don't know what to try next, I am out of ideas!
Any of you guys have any ideas where I might look !! ???

Thanking everyone in advance for any input.
Forgot to add, I check for codes and got 55.

Ken

When I checked for power at the connection at the tank yesterday, there was no power + I tried 3 different ground spots for my test light.
Something just came to me, I will check again this afternoon. But I think the gas gauge was working, and if so, why did I get no power at the tank connection.
Does not make sense. I will check again!

The power at the tank is only present for a few seconds if the engine isn't started. You have to turn the key off then on to get another few seconds out of it.

Well today I picked up an ASD Relay, but before I put it on I tried starting it.

Now there is no crank (battery is good) . Lights on dash came on as normal.

I tried it again, and again no crank and now, no dash lights on.

I tried it a few times and no dash lights, no crank.

So what is going on, this first start as me checking for fuel.

Now there is no crank no nothing. I do have power inside the Van, lights, etc, but no radio or fan. headlight work.

?????????

Have you checked for good grounds, that is where the battery connects to the firewall sheet metal, and the engine hooks to the body or battery negative... sounds like some bad connections going on with the battery neg side... happens when these vans get rusty and corroded over time

I will check tomorrow even though the Van is pretty good rust wise, it was only used in the summer, the underbody is mostly the org. paint. RV was not used in winter.
But I do know the ground is important to complete the cycle.
Just wondering if the computer is toast.
I will take of the grounds and clean them up.

Thanks for heads up.
