I was Not making a judgment call, was not sure you were aware. Insurance companies aways look for a out if they have one and by the way I have pulled a few travel trailers without working brakes over the past 20 years it happens.

I did not know about 5 wire systems either until I ran across it in my 97 LandCruiser

 

I believe the five wire has a reverse lights.
