Crank, crank, crank but don'y stat, no bus in the odometer
I have a 2002 Dodge 1500 Van with 2.5 engine. In the beginning the problem start with the engine stop while driving, thanks god at slow speed. I start the engine and go like nothing never happens, slowly more and more frequently, the van stop in lights, or parking lots with out any advise, until the last time stop in the drive way and start some times wend see like.
The only code I get in the reader ODB is PO748 and is related to a transmission, the Pressure sensor and solenoid had been replaced. The codes in the odometer are #920, #921, #999 and the lattes "No Bus".
After all the inspection in the wiring, changing some sensors, clean connector 's. Nothing look like damage, failing or defective, voltage between Battery, PCM, sensors and other points reading all right.
12 Volts in Battery, OK
12 Volts in PCM A #2, OK
12 Volts in PCM A #22, OK
Grounds OK all over.
5 Volst in PCM A #17, OK Primary
5 Volts in PCM B #31, OK Secondary
Sensor Ground PCM A #4 OK
Resistance between A #17 Primary and Sensor Ground 517 Ohm. OK
Resistance between B #31 Secondary and Sensor Ground "65 K Ohm" this look hi to me, ant one has idea if is OK?
is any one with more knowledge about this? help is hilly appreciated.
Thanks.

except for transmission code, your problem is the same as my 2001 5.2
my problem started out like a misfire while driving where the van hesitated every now and then, then got progressively worse in Feb this past winter
I am "allergic" to working in real hot weather... so van has been sitting... I will start back up trying to fix it when it cools off outside... maybe mid-September

900 The CCD data bus is not operational.
1. Check the CCD data bus connections at the cluster. 2. Check the cluster fuses.
3. Check the CCD data bus bias.
4. Check the CCD data bus voltage.
5. Check the CCD data bus terminations.
920 The cluster is not receiving a vehicle speed message from the PCM.
1. Check the PCM software level and reflash if required.
2. Use a DRB scan tool to verify that the vehicle speed message is being sent by the PCM.
921 The cluster is not receiving a distance pulse message from the PCM.
1. Check the PCM software level and reflash if required.
2. Use a DRB scan tool to verify that the distance pulse message is being sent by the PCM.
940 The cluster is not receiving an airbag lamp-on message from the ACM.
1. Check the CCD data bus connections at the ACM.
2. Check the ACM fuse.
950 The cluster is not receiving an ABS lamp-on message from the CAB.
1. Check the CCD data bus connections at the CAB.
2. Check the CAB fuse.
999 An error has been discovered.
1. Record the failure message.
2. Depress the trip odometer reset button to continue the Self-Diagnostic Test.
Usually those codes mean the PCM is bad...

I know your problem, we talk about the same last month, I think in the end to get a rebuilt PCM and try if work normal. I inspect every single wire sensor and connector with out found any fault, except the diference in resistance on pin #31 connector B and pin #4 connector A of the PCM Wich is to hi for me 56K ohm. The rest is ok.
