Yes, it could be a bad steering gear box - and I've been told by several sources that cheap rebuilt Dodge gear boxes are no good. But could be anything: idler arm, pitman arm, tie rod ends, etc. I would put it up on jack stands and shake everything connected to the steering gear until I located where the slack is, you must find where the movement is occurring. good morning,yes i did all that nothing moves the front end is new.i check each side one by one, and cheched put
the whole front end was up on stands nothing move.. i do think its the gear box thx...
