trans cooler check valve / replace radiator?
Just watched utube vid where a trany was burnt because check ball stuck in the cooler line.
It said if you have crysler you need to change the radiator at the same time you change the check valve....
Dose that apply to dodge too?

Not sure about the check valve but I'm someone else will chime in with a answer.
Aftermarket transmission coolers are something I recommend. I notice a reduction in engine temp
as well as tranny temp expecially during summer months, not a necessity but they don't hurt.

Not sure what your vehicle details are (year, engine, transmission, mileage, etc), but it is a common mod on the Ram truck side to delete the check valve entirely.

Yea thanks for the delete check valve thread..jketon... I spend like an hour on it..then looked under my 97 B2500 ram van....and it is so different than a truck...in fact this old van started life out as an Emergency vehicle ambulance, So who knows what kind of things are done to it...
Now I'm thinking I really need a mechanic, to help me, understand this rig..All the line's going all over under the hood...my, my, my ...it's really intimidating.
