Default 1997 b2500 3.9

ok got a issue with stalling ,one day van started shutting of mostly when i came to a stop, but would crank back up, one time it was little hard to crank back up but did anyhow, ok so i have replaced the igniton coil, crankshaft sensor, plugs, wires, distibutor cap and rotor and pickup coil, it will crank and run maybe 10 sec's then shut right off like i turned the key of ,then will not crank back for alittle while, kinda stumped as to what it could be, noticed when i put my test light on end of igntion coil wire and turned motor over it would not be pulseing ,then some times it would for a breif moment

Will it stay running if you keep your foot on the gas a bit?

Then it sound like the PCM has cracks on the PC board or the connectors plugging into it need to have the contacts cleaned.

well turns out its a crack in the board some where ,cause just barelly pushed in on other connectors and same thing happened, so tryed pushing in on the outter body of the computer and same thing happened more then likely its causeing the top part of the pcm to flex and short out ,so more than likely will be buying new power control module

Cheaper to get a used one from a junkyard or eBay. As long as the numbers match it's okay and no programming is necessary.
