Slow overheating
Hello my name is Robin,
My 2000 Dodge Ram van V-6, is over heating again. A few months ago I had the fan and fan clutch spin off. I had the radiator replaced, fan and clutch replaced, New thermostat, new hoses, new surpentine belt, it still overheating. Took it to a well recommended mechanic, he replaced the heads to the tune of 2000 bucks. Work over winter I was only driving 6 miles to work and back. Now it's summer and it's overheating at about 7 miles out city driviing. I'm at my wits end! What else could it be?!

Does it overheat more so driving or stopped idling? Are you towing?
are the fan shrouds in place?
is the heater core plugged...on some vehicles, the way coolant is routed, if the heater core is plugged the car will run hot...90's cavaliers did this all the time.
