Question Looking to lift a new purchase

Hello,

We just purchased a class b RV built on a 1999 Dodge Ram B3500 chassis. Gas, 2wd. I'm looking to lift it for some extra ground clearance. Can someone point me to suitable lift kit? I'd greatly appreciate it!

The van will handle a lot better down low. The gravity drain sewers can be replaced with a grinder pump that hooks up to a garden hose. That would give you a few inches of clearance.

That thing is top heavy. I wouldn't lift it.

We have to lift it, even if just an inch or 2.

Here's a link for a possible solution http://www.mcbayperformance.com/, I have not used any of their products. Maybe someone else will chime in that has experience with their products.

Something like one of these air spring setups would help prevent the rear from squatting. Not sure about how much lift you get, if any
https://www.airliftcompany.com/shop/57105/

Would have been nice setup for me back in the day when I used to carry very heavy loads of flooring in my 99 3500 cargo van.
Why do you "have" to lift it?

I just put 2" spacers under the front springs on my 99 1500 which raised it around 3-4" (probably an inch or so of that was coming back up from sagging factory springs) and am about to put 3" factory lift blocks off a similar year ram pickup on the back... I drive it around a bit to make sure the front end felt stable, etc... it seems fine so far and doesn't roll as much a it did before (I also went from lt rated 245/75/r15 to stiffer e rated 265/75/r16 tires on truck rims with 2" spacers (only adds a little more width than is lost with the larger offset of the truck rims). I have a strong feeling after driving it that it's going to have quite a bit less body roll with the stiffer tires, new shocks and stiffer springs... Hopefully this is helpful...

I would purchase an air spring kit for the rear, and at the same time buy 4 bilstein shocks and install them. Do not cheap out on the shocks. That suspension is maxed out on the van already. Do all of this first, then if you must raise the front it could likely be raised and inch or so with just new springs. If you need more another custom height spring could be installed.
