Pressure washed the under side of my van a couple days ago.
Today I noticed a pile of black charcoal on ground under van.
Looked on line for a replacement canister and found NONE.
I did find foam filters, so I assume the foam filter at the bottom of canister disintegrated.
Can these be rebuilt? where to get charcoal?
Do they open to replace the inside parts?
Anyone with experience ? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

In the 1990s I got one at the local wrecking yard.
And do a search at Summit for charcoal canister:

thx tjkoko, I found one at a dismantler who seems to specialize in vintage and old parts.
The usual when I search is that there are plenty of ford or chevy parts and very few Dodge parts.
Even most dismantlers seem to have no Dodge parts for a vehicle this old.

Following a search for body parts to my 94 Dodge Ram van, I learned from many dismantlers that they "only go back to 95". Beyond that the vehicles are considered to be classic or vintage. Whatever. 8*(

Found 2 of them.
1 used for $45 at Turners auto dismantling in Fresno, ca, they specialize in vintage and really old vehicles of all types. Good resource.
1 NOS in original mopar box $130 from Brads NOS in S.C. He seems to have a good stock of Mopar NOS Also bought a very hard to find fuel sending unit for 36 gal plastic tank from him.
The Mopar part # for this is 41168 77 if anyone needs to know.

It turns out that there are 2 different fuel vapor canister systems.
I do not know if only in calif or whole US
The one i received from the dismantler out of a dodge with 360 cid did not fit.
The correct from Brads NOS with correct part # did fit.
The difference is some have a single canister system, mine has a dual canister system and they are slightly smaller than the single system.
