I have a 96 b2500 with a 3.9. I am getting a code 22 ( coolant sensor) code . I have replaced the sensor with 2 different new ones and I知 still getting the code. All the wiring diagrams I find show a 2 wire sensor but mine has only one. Anyone have any clues ? I知 totally confused

Code 22 is for ECT sensor voltage too low (P0117) or too high (P0118). I also show a two-wire sensor with TN/BK and BK/LB wires. The BK/LB wire is spliced into other sensor wires and goes to PCM ground.
The instrument temperature gauge has a VT/YL wire going to a one-wire engine coolant temperature sending unit with a case ground.
