Not Charging! '88 360 converted to manual carb
Hey all I need some help.
I ahve a '88 ram 350 van with a 360. I put a vaccume advance carb with manual choke and a vaccume distributor on it, starts great and runs good BUT
The Battery is not getting charged, I have a new battery and new alternator, belts have about 1.5 inches of play in them, most of the wiring harness is hooked up but also most of it is doing nothing because of the old school carb and distributor set up.
I am at a loss, can anybody help me get this alternator to charge the battery?? Thanks for your time!
