Default Only 28000 miles on the Van

Hoping this thread keeps going. Bought a 1999 B3500 B class motorhome. Thought I was going to die on the way home. Took it to a shop who said the alignment was way off, not much help. Steering stabilizer? I have seen these models with dually's added and was wondering if anyone has tried that. I am an amateur but want to learn to fix what I can. New to the forum but appreciate what I have read so far.

Steering stabilizer is a band aid fix, and doesn't address the actual problem. If your steering is sloppy, that means there are loose parts in the linkage, sloppy box, or both. Jack up the front end of the truck, put someone in the drivers seat, and have them GENTLY move the steering wheel back and forth, see what moves that shouldn't, and what doesn't move, that should.
