My engine runs smooth and quiet and has no oil consumption issues. Driveable as long as you baby the accelerator.Shifts perfectly and able to reach cruising speeds , as long as you do not attempt trying to pass someone under heavy acceleration.

Possibly crank sensor, or cam sensor as well.

Camshaft position sensor is under the distributor cap. Parts store call it 'pick-up coil', even though it has nothing to do with the ignition system. PCM uses it for injector timing.

How many miles on the engine? Also there is no 3.2L engine so post the correct engine size.

I would be more suspicious of the crank sensor, than the cam sensor....... That was the one giving my old truck fits at large throttle openings.
