2002 Dodge Ram 2500 van Water leak brake lights
Hello everyone,
I bought my first cargo van, and I've noticed that water was entering through the tail lights. Both light assemblies were cracked, so i replaced them with new ones but water still enters. There were no gaskets, but I can see where caulk had once been applied. So I used butyl tape and marine sealant and stopped the water coming in from the top, but there is still some water entering through the open vented sides (the part that looks like fish gills). Is this normal? Any suggestions on how to seal it off from entering the interior? Thanks for any help!
