Hey guys. I have a question about wheel offset. I have a 2001 ram 1500 van with 15 inch rims that are original. They are the chrome not black steel. Looking around on the net I have found the offset to be listed as +13mm to -23mm??? I don't have access to van at the moment so can not go measure but hoping there is someone here would know the answer. One more question, looking to go to 16 inch rims, how far from original offset can you safely go? Thanks for any help.

 

You are more concerned with backspacing, rather than offset. Two wheels can have the same offset, but, totally different backspacing. Measure your wheels, and go from there. You can likely go with a wider wheel, but, keep the same backspacing.
