Hello, what is the biggest tire I can put on the rear?
I'm open to buying new rims that have a different offset in order to have bigger tires. I am thinking about taking it to a tire shop but figured I'd tap the internet first. Any drawback to changing rim offset?
Has 8 bolt pattern now with 16 inch rims running stock tires. I just want wider wheels to help deal with the rear axle being narrow and the crappy handling that creates.

 

Take it to the tire shop, and see what they suggest. Also might measure current clearances, see how much room you have to expand.
