I need the rear door latch on the back of the van, passenger side. Is this the same latch as the front doors? It has 2 doors, and not the big "barn door".

I've looked on the Interweb without specific direction on where to find one.

Do you, (or other members) know if there is a repair kit for this? This part seems to be a very rare latch assembly, and I might want to figure out a way to repair mine, and some back up assemblies when they cannot be located anymore.

 

Normally, they are fairly reliable. I have replace numerous door handles, but, very few latches. No one I am aware of sells repair parts for them, they just get replaced as a unit. Scoring a few from the junkyard would be a good supply of spare parts... mix and match, and two or three of them should keep you good to go for quite some time. (provided you can find them when you need them. )
