Having a whole bunch of issues. I actually was able to open before. After inspecting I found that I can unlock and lock it sounds like it moves but I'm unable to move latch down to open the door. I opened up the panel and found that both rods are hesitanting

Any advice would be amazing

 

Hit the latches with some PB Blaster. Let it soak in, then try and operate them manually. (push/pull whatever lever on the latch that is supposed to release it.) Once you get them broke loose, hit 'em with the PB again, clean them up good, then some lithium grease to keep them lubed.
