Parasidic draw leades me to headlight switch
Hi , Ive had a parasidic draw for a while now, finally traced it to 2 relays, one is for a rear window defogger, which my van is not equipped with, just pulled the relay, and the other was for the interior/exterior lights, I was able to trace that draw to the headlight switch, as soon as I unplugged the electrical connector, the draw went to "0",,,so my question is , will just replacing the light switch solve my problem, or do I need to go further and check all light connections, on the inside and the outside?..the switch controls a lot of functions, so not sure where to go from here, has anybody here had a light switch be the cause of the parasidic draw?.. any help is always appreciated,,,, thank you,,,,,
Well the good news is that there are 2 light green wires off the back of the headlight switch that are the source of the parasitic drain, my problem is that I can’t find what they go to, I’ve disconnected them, and all my lights, signals, reverse, and all other lights are working perfectly,, so thats the mystery for me now, by any chance, does anyone here have an advanced schematics sheet, that would show what the 2 light green wires on the back of the headlight switch go to,,any help would be appreciated,,,thank you,,,,,
without dtrl….. the 2 green wires go to the dimmer switch
one for the flash to pass
one for the high low beam

Thank you, that's super helpful, but why would that be a parasidic draw, is there something in the wiring heading to the headlights that is not right, or could it be in the control for the high beam inside the steering colom?, Im getting closer, just haven't conqured it yet,, thanks again for your help, much appreciated,,,,,,
