am in the middle of pulling the motor out of this van slant 6 got it all loose all that's left is pull the trans off . but am looking where to attach the lifting chain to do so .
it looks like the way to do it is out the passenger door . dose the bell housing need to come off to ? but I have the chain on the bellhousing bolt and to the bolt that
the alternator bracket bolt .I start to loft but not sure if that is strong enough and doesn't look like it will come up far enough to .what is the proper points to lift from

 

I think you need to pull the radiator, and the top section of the support also unbolts? Then the engine comes out thru the front.

 

it had to come out the passenger door not to bad I did brake the crabeater (DAM)
