And update on this thread. I dropped the tank last night (pretty difficult with 1 person) having a 2nd person would definitely make it easier. But I removed the lines and rented the fuel pump removal loaner tool from autozone which worked like a charm.
The Grommet that connects to the gas line was busted so waiting on that part to arrive. But reconnected eveything and fired it up and it runs just fine.
The fuel pump was original so it definitely was on its last leg. Thanks again for all the help.
