93 B150 pulling to the left when braking
Driving home last week my 93 B150 starting pulling hard to the left when I put on the brakes. The passenger side caliper seemed to be dragging and got really hot to the point of smoking when I was at a light or stop sign. I changed out the calipers and pads, new rotors and bled the brakes this morning. When I went for a test drive the van still pulls to the left when I hit the brakes! The right side doesn't seem to be dragging, but something is happening. Could it be one of the brakes hoses or the proportioning valve or MC? Any ideas or advice appreciated.
if you have a ir temp gun...test drive and them measure the rotor temps. if the temps are the same side to side it may be a worn suspension component. if the temps are different significantly side to side...you have a brake problem.
raise the front end and spin both wheels...any drag?
remove the r/f caliper and try to push the pistons back...if you can't...crack the bleeder screw...if the piston moves back...the problem maybe the flex hose.

We are going to do the IR check tomorrow.....I am thinking it is a hose problem after reading some older forum posts. I also wonder about the rear ABS maybe having a hand in this.....thanks for the reply!
