Default Sheet metal

There is a section of metal the size of my fist rusted out , driver's side in the middle of the rocker.

I've seen other RAM Vans rusted in this same area so it must be common.

I was planning on just fiberglassing over the hole once I treat the metal but would prefer to spot weld a new section in. Grind the welds down flush then fill it in with body filler.

I don't own a English wheel to bend the metal.

Anybody got an junk RAM vans I could get a section of this metal from? Mines a 2001.

It can be anywhere from the driver's side. Just needs to fit the contour of the rocker panel.

I'll take a photo of the rust hole when I get my van back.

Agreed.
Yea that part is a integral unibody part. Any fix should be welding sheet metal in, grinding it smooth and then paint..

I did a video of doing the repair on the passenger side, you could probably use a passenger side part to fix the driver side if you can't find a driver side part.
