Default weird brake light issue

Top/middle brake light works, but both side brake lights do not. Changed bulbs in both. no power to them.

2000 1500 conversion with hitop

Those wires for the brake lights originate under the dash and run on the floor where the drivers feet are. They progress under the seat and run up to the top right behind the drivers door. There are connectors about 8 inches off the floor behind the door. Could be test points for you. Might be something simple as a fuse. Check both fuse boxes first.

The left and right brake lights run through the TS switch but the 3rd light does not, so yes it's likely a bad TS switch.

Default its fixed

Changed out the turn signal switch, and short run of wire that came with it. 160 bucks. Wish i knew what part fixed it, but it was the only switch i could find. Would have loved to only change out the 60 buck switch.
